Off Roading

High on the western bluffs above the Spokane River is the only off-road vehicle (ORV) area in the Washington State Parks system. Nearly 600 acres of varying terrain means that all types of riders from beginners to experts can play in the open areas, challenging steep and sandy hills or forested single tracks. The ORV park also has rocky areas for crawling. A seasonal creek runs in the spring but is navigable the rest of the year. We are looking to expand another small rock garden in the future.

Bring your Motorcycles, Quads, Side by Sides, 4X4’s and Snowmobiles out and enjoy the ORV park today.

Getting To the ORV Area

From N Nine Mile Road, turn left onto W 7 Mile Road. Continue on the road for 2.2 miles, then turn left on N Inland Road and continue for 0.3 miles until you reach the parking lot.

Parking is easy with a paved parking lot featuring several parking spaces for tow vehicles and trailers, and standard parking spots. Near the main parking lot, there are restrooms, several covered picnic shelters and a nice grassy area. Further south from the main is the beginner’s area, also with parking, restrooms, and a covered picnic shelter.

The ORV park is open from dawn to dusk, 7 days a week all year.
